{"id":3193,"date":"2012-03-14T10:20:47","date_gmt":"2012-03-14T09:20:47","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/azconsulate.sk\/?p=3193"},"modified":"2012-03-14T10:49:11","modified_gmt":"2012-03-14T09:49:11","slug":"new-rules-of-issuing-visas-on-the-occasion-of-eurovision-song-contest-2012","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/staging.azconsulate.sk\/en\/news\/new-rules-of-issuing-visas-on-the-occasion-of-eurovision-song-contest-2012\/","title":{"rendered":"New temporary rules of issuing visas on the occasion of Eurovision Song contest 2012"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>In  accordance with the Decree of President of the Republic of Azerbaijan<br \/>\ndated 10 February 2012 &#8220;On the facilitation of visa procedures for  foreigners and stateless persons, travelling to the Republic of  Azerbaijan in connection with &#8220;Eurovision-2012&#8243; song contest to be held  in Baku&#8221;:<\/strong><br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"> <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The  citizens of the states-participants of &#8220;Eurovision-2012&#8221; song contest  and stateless persons, permanently residing in those states, who intend  to travel to the Republic of Azerbaijan in connection with the contest,  can obtain their visas at the sections of the Consular Department of the  Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">at the  international airports<\/span> of the Republic of Azerbaijan.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">One of the following documents is considered to be the basis for issuing a visa:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">An official invitation letter issued by the Organizing Committee of &#8220;Eurovision-2012&#8221; song contest;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">A document, confirming the accreditation in accordance with the relevant rules of the European Broadcasting Union;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">A ticket or a document, confirming the acquisition of the ticket for concerts of &#8220;Eurovision-2012&#8221; song contest.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The above-mentioned persons can apply in the following period of time to obtain their visas:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The  persons travelling in accordance with the official invitation letter  issued by the Organizing Committee of &#8220;Eurovision-2012&#8221; song contest, as  well as the participants and members of delegations accredited in  accordance with the relevant rules of the European Broadcasting Union  -from April 15 until June 1, 2012;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Journalists  and members of the fan club, accredited in accordance with the relevant  rules of the European Broadcasting Union, as well as the persons, who  obtained ticket for the concerts of &#8220;Eurovision-2012&#8221; song contest -from  May 10 until June 1, 2012.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Note: The  Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan informed the  diplomatic representations and consulates of the Republic of Azerbaijan  abroad of the new rules on facilitation of visa procedures for persons  coming to Azerbaijan in connection with &#8220;Eurovision-2012&#8221;
